2016 in an infographic

After crunching some numbers for tax CYA purposes** we realized we had had quite an amazing journey in terms of statistics, so Matt thought it’d be fun to visualize it in the form of an infographic. I hope you enjoy!
Rural Quebec
We’ve been staying in the Eastern Townships of rural Quebec for the last 3 weeks in our final housesit. It’s a several acre farm about 90 minutes east of Montreal. We are taking care of three dogs.
Amsterdam
We had a chance to spend 2 weeks in Amsterdam between our Scottish and Canadian housesits. It so happened that we had a couple weeks left on our EU visa, and that it would fall right on my birthday, and I’d always wanted to visit the Netherlands.

Scotland
Guys, I’m sorry – due to procrastination and stuff getting really busy near the end of our stay, I won’t be writing the Auschwitz post. I need to catch everyone up on what we’ve been doing for the last 4 weeks in Scotland.
Krakow
Hey everyone. It’s been an embarrassingly long battle with our email subscription plugin – so if you haven’t gotten any emails in a while, please check our blog for posts on Brighton, our trip across France and Prague over the last 2 months. I think I have it fixed going forward.
Prague: City of a Hundred Spires
After three days in Strasbourg, we landed in Prague in the Czech Republic. It’s a striking city with an incredible Old World charm due to the fact that it has over 1000 years of history mostly untouched despite two World Wars and occupation by the Soviets.
Strasbourg
After a couple days in Bayeux, we took a bullet train to Strasbourg, on the opposite side of France and near the border of Germany. It’s been annexed so many times between the two countries that they don’t seem to know which they are, and that definitely is clear when you eat the food.
Paris and Versailles
(no Missouri folks, it’s not pronounced Ver-SAILS).
